Sabrina, 29 – Wanting to find libido again (thanks antidepressants!) and in a happy marriage

“My face was “😮” at each variety. It was subtle but powerful… you just can’t go wrong with this one.”

This little beauty is a super sleek modern version of the old classic hitachi wand. This style of toy was the first sex toy I had ever bought for myself, and unlike the chunky version I owned over a decade ago the one I received is a sleek turquoise and felt super slim and subtle.

I turned it on right out of the box and was impressed it had charge— and what immediately caught my eye was the very impressive feature of an LCD screen that turned on. That sounded really cool until I saw the that timer turning it on starts, and I’m not sure I need that kind of shaming in my life as I get the feeling we may be spending a lot of time together. (And we have!)

It has 10 modes, and as I held it in my hand to grasp what each one felt, my face was “😮” at each variety. It was subtle but powerful, way better than the first vibrating wand I’d enjoyed for years.

You just can’t go wrong with this one. You can’t miss, that’s why it’s a wonderful first sex toy for clitoral stimulation. You know instinctively where this goes and when and how to mix up both the intensities and vibrating patterns, and the handy LED screen makes it an even easier experience for you.

I LOVE THIS, and would recommend this to anyone— whether it’s your first toy, you’re upgrading your vibrator, or you want to spice things up a little.

Aroha, 50 – Māori woman who has just separated from her partner and is new to toys

Seriously, the top level is like a one-way ticket to Orgasm Town.”

As a Gen X’er, I’m a bit suspicious of things with screens. Sometimes learning new tricks, or devicey stuff, is just too much like hard work. Well, in this case it was worth the effort.

First off let’s talk about that digital LCD screen. It displays everything you need to know – power level, vibration pattern, and even a visual of the current vibe style. No more guessing games! Just a quick glance, and you’re in control.

With 10 rumbly, pulsing patterns and four power levels, this wand is like the DJ of your dreams, spinning tracks that range from a gentle hum to an earthquake. Seriously, the top level is like a one-way ticket to Orgasm Town. Possibly a first for me – the continuous vibes were a bit much, so I mixed it up with pulsing patterns that blended soft and intense which I found a perfect tease.

If there’s one rage-inducing thing in life, it’s the toy dying on you at the peak. So one feature that’s an absolute lifesaver: the battery level display.

Would I recommend it – If given a choice, I’d probably stick with my usual go-to’s but if you’re new to the world of vibrators this might be a great starter.

Alex, 33 – Single gal just out of a looooong-term relationship and is prioritising her own happiness

“It doesn’t scream anything new and doesn’t particularly make me scream either.”

I don’t need everything in my life to be digital, including my sex life.

This wand allows you to see the vibration modes and what level they are at on a wee digital screen. But what kind of person is in the throes of flying solo and just casually pulls it out to check the screen!? How would you find the benefit in that function, I am really not sure.

I will give the screen one thing though; it shows you how long you have in battery life so you can check it beforehand…now that is hella handy. Have you ever had a device run out of battery mid-self-coitus so you turned to what was in your fridge instead!? Yeah…me neither *ahem*.

It’s marketed as having endless features and functions, but I can’t seem to figure out what these endless functions are. It says the neck of the wand is flexible, but what’s the point in a flexible neck if it’s just a wand? What are people doing with these, swirling them around their lady business like no tomorrow!? Perhaps they are and I need to question my techniques.

This was perhaps my least excitable toy in the box of goodies for this panel. I like the ability to check the battery life beforehand but would love to see that on a more interesting device. It doesn’t scream anything new and doesn’t particularly make me scream either. This one is a bit of a miss for me. The vibrations are certainly powerful and don’t get me wrong there are lots of settings to play around with in terms of changing the vibration settings and levels of power. But I find it just didn’t give me the excitement I needed.

Penny, 37 – A married mum of two kids who had ‘em young and missed out on any experimenting

Don’t let its size fool you. This wand is like the little engine that could—if that engine was capable of making you feel an intense O.

Alright, let me introduce you to the Ema Mini Digital Wand in blue. This thing is like if an elegant Smurf and a power drill had a baby. It’s small, it’s fierce, and it’s ready to rock your world!

First off, it’s a small but mighty 6.7 inches, which is about the length of a large pen— except this one doesn’t just take notes; it takes you to another level. It’s super comfy to hold and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, which is great because I guarantee you’ll want to keep it there for a while.

The digital controls are fancy, with so many vibration settings that you’ll need a cheat sheet. You can go from “gentle pulses” to “strong waves” in no time. I also love that it displays the battery level on the screen, ensuring you won’t be left upset mid-session due to an inconvenient dead battery.

Don’t let its size fool you. This wand is like the little engine that could—if that engine was capable of making you feel an intense O. It’s more powerful than my morning coffee, and way quieter, so no need to worry about neighbours hearing you. Unless you’re the loud type, then maybe use it under a thick blanket or something, which it is actually perfect for because it has a nifty little light on it for use in dark spaces!

Overall, It’s cute, powerful, and easy to use. If you want something that’s small but mighty, this is definitely worth checking out. Prepare yourself for some seriously good vibes!

Sports Bra, 35 – Flying the flag for team lesbian, and would welcome some new additions to the bedside table

“This little wand punched well above its weight, racking up many gold medal performances.”

The Share Satisfaction Mini Digital Wand was the perfect toy to review during the Olympic Games. The wand was a baton of pleasure that would be passed between us in the race for orgasmic ecstasy. It’s digital display, for some reason, opted to include a timer by default. It started ticking over as soon as you switched it on which meant you could record your personal bests when you turned it off. This little wand punched well above its weight, racking up many gold medal performances.

Aside from the timer, it was actually great to have a display to guide you through the options. It’s one of those things that is so intuitive that once you have it, you wonder why other toys don’t. Being able to see what you’re working with saves you from being like my old office colleague, who used to sit at his desk mindlessly scrolling through all his ringtone options. Somehow unaware that the rest of us have had our phones on silent since 2006. You don’t have to endure this image or inconvenience with the Mini Digital Wand.

If you’ve played with a wand before, you know the deal. This is just a smaller version but its smaller size didn’t equate to any drop in power. It’s actually ended up replacing our larger wand in both partnered and solo play. After making its debut in this Olympic cycle, it’s now one of our regular toys on rotation.
