Ooshie Hacks: How to Get 11 Ooshies for a $32.51 Shop. (We Are SO Over These, We Need This DONE)

If you too are being driven mad by Ooshies and just need this to be done – we hear you – here’s our Ooshies hack for getting more for your buck.

Yes, it was just last week that I was ranting about how OVER Ooshies I am. I am done. I am at my wit’s end. I need this to be over.

It seems many of you feel the same because that story, ‘Life Is Stressful Enough Without the Pressure of Having to Collect a Full F***ing Set of Ooshies. Help!’ has been getting all the clicks.

In it, I crunched the numbers and it seemed like getting a full set of 40 would cost more than I spent on my first car.

BUT. Today I did a little online work before I went to the supermarket and found myself a little hack:

Ooshie bonus products.

Like the name would suggest, you get a bonus extra Ooshie when you buy one of these products (providing you spend at least $30 in store). I had a good look online at what the current list is (it’s changing weekly) and what things on this list were items that my family either already does buy, or would definitely use.

You can get pretty crafty with this, because you’re allowed to buy a max of three per brand. So, my plan was to buy three packets of Biscoff cookies at $1.99 each and three packets of Healtheries Peppermint Tea for $2.79 a box – yip, the added bonus is that the vast majority of the bonus products are also on special! I hit a bit of an issue when it seemed I wasn’t the only one onto this hack because there were just two packets of biscoff left and one box of tea. But still, I reckon I did pretty well, spending $36 and taking home 10 Ooshies.

Now, you’ll want to check online to see if these deals are still valid when you’re shopping, but here’s what I bought:

• 2 x Lotus Biscoff Crème Filled Biscuits, 110g = $1.99 each
• Healtheries Herbal Tea Peppermint Bags, 20 pack = $2.79
• McCain Pub Style Extra Crispy Fries Signature Seasoning, 750g = $3.99
• Nescafe Coffee Sachets Caramel Latte 10pack, 135g = $4.79
• Fresh N Fruity Yoghurt Tub Vanilla Bean Tub, 1kg = $4.99
• Woolworths Broccolini Bag = $4.20
• Farrah’s Pizza Bases Ultra Thin 3pack = $5.30
• Healtheries Kidscare Potato Snack Stix Roast 160g, Multipack 8 pack = $5.80

= $35.48 for 10 Ooshies (that’s nine bonus Ooshies plus one for spending over $30)
