But if you’re a little tired of your standard gin and tonic, here are three gin cocktail recipes you can make at home and impress your mates with a little help from Bombay Sapphire.
Clover Club Royale
Ingredients:
30ml Bombay Sapphire
30ml Martini Extra Dry
30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
22.5ml of Raspberry Syrup
20ml Egg White
15ml Daniel le Brun NV or other sparkling wine
Garnish:
1g of Freeze-dried Raspberry crumbs
2g Mint Leaf
Glass:
Coupe Glass
Method:
- Chill a coupe glass
- Into a cocktail shaker add Raspberry Syrup, Vermouth, fresh Lemon, Bombay Sapphire and Egg Whites
- Fill shaker with ice and shake gloriously hard
- Fine strain into an empty and chilled Coupe glass
- Charge with Daniel le Brun NV
- Garnish with Raspberry Crumbs, mint sprig and serve
Bramble Sour
Ingredients:
45ml Bombay Sapphire
10ml Bianco Vermouth
15ml Fresh Lemon Juice
15ml Fresh Orange Juice
15ml Honey Syrup (2 parts honey, 1 part water, tiny dash of orange blossom)
15m Aquafaba
Garnish:
2g Cinnamon Bark
Glass:
Old Fashioned
Method:
- Chill an Old Fashioned glass
- Into a cocktail shaker, add 45ml Bombay Sapphire, 10ml Dolin Blanc Vermouth, 15ml Orange Juice, 15ml Lemon Juice, 5ml Honey Syrup & 15ml Aquafaba
- Fill the shaker with ice, close and shake hard for seven seconds
- Fine strain over fresh ice in the Old Fashioned glass
- Garnish with freshly broken cinnamon quill bark and serve
Crystal Clear Martini
Ingredients:
60ml Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru
7.5ml Martini Extra Dry Vermouth
5ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
Garnish:
Fresh Lemon Zest
Glass:
Nick & Nora or Martini
Method:
- Freeze a Nick & Nora Glass
- Into a chilled mixing glass, add Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru and Martini Dry Vermouth
- Stir well to achieve dilution
- Carefully strain into the frozen Nick & Nora Glass
- Garnish with a lemon zest
